Hi all,

I am looking at purchasing an IRTrans but I am located in the U.S. How do I go about purchasing one? Also, should I go with the Ethernet or USB model; what would be the advantages?

Thanks,

Ed

Hi Ed,
no problem - of course we sell and ship to the US.

Simply send us an EMail and we will send you a quote.

The main difference between the USB and Ethernet devices is the interface. The USB devices need to be placed nearby the PC while the Ethernet devices can be anywhere in your network.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking at setting up my Mac to work as a DVR using the EyeTV 250 Plus to record from a satellite or over the air signal. You all were recommended from them to act as an IR blaster to allow changing of channels from the satellite receiver. Which device would you recommend? I have a iBook G4 - any considerations that I need to look at?

Thanks,

Ed

You can use the iRed USB Mac special for that - it costs 129 USD incl. airmail shipment to the US.

You can find it here: http://www.irtrans.de/en/shop/specials.php

Please note that this special price is only available for shipment to the US.
