Strange IR codes

Postby Paul32 » Thu 10. Jun 2010, 08:17

Hi All,

I have a new IRTrans-USB and trying to learn IR codes, but I got strange/double row signals.
What do I wrong?
23:51:43 : S0
23:51:43 : hs2_signals 4
23:51:47 : S0
23:51:48 : hs2_signals 4
23:52:44 : S10100
23:52:44 : 10113210100010113
23:53:27 : S10100
23:53:28 : 10113210100010113
This are 2 different IR signals, when I learn them into Homeseer the commands are accepted but when I sent them again homeseer doesn't respont!!!
What does the SO and S10100 line means?

And sometimes when I use a normal button like 3 there comes a few different codes from the same button(it isn't a power toggle button).

The IR trans is in a dark clossed, the signals are send whit a harmony extender.

Regards Paul.

Hi,
that might be IR codes with a longer pause within the IR code. You can try to set the IR Timeout to 250ms using the Device Settings of the GUI Client.
Then try to relearn the IR Codes.

Learning using an RF extender might not be a good idea. It would be best to use the original remote control for learning.

With problematic codes it could be a good idea to first learn them using the IRTrans GUI Client. That way you can easily test them.
