Erratic TV Switch-On

That didn't work unfortunately. But I did discover that I could get the TV to power up reliably by using a large repeat count for channel signals. (Repeat counts less than 12 don't seem to work, so my earlier attempt wasn't successful.) For simplicity, I increased the repeat count for all channels. For future reference, the hopefully final version of this file is as follows.

Interesting - so it does not have to do with the toggle bit. That makes sense for me because normally the toggle bit does not change when the button is held down.

Furthermore increasing the repeat count is nothing else as holding down the button for a longer time - sounds logical.

Would you mind to upload the .rem file to the IR codes section of the forum ?

I seem to have had two problems: I need the toggle bit to make Mute and AV signals work; I need a longer signal to take the TV out of standby (and probably also the toggle bit).

My previous post already contained the final .rem file that I got to work. I was specific in this about the TV and remote control model. You are anyone are welcometo use or adapt this.

Apart from this problematic TV, control of other AV devices with IRTrans has worked just fine.
