“remote control not found” error

Hi,

I have a problem with one of our IRTrans systems. I am able to send codes using the IR trans GUI client fine to my Set Top Box. However, only a couple of days ago our app that send the codes to the IR Trans no longer works. This app is working on 7 other PCs without any problems and the app on this machine is an exact copy of the others. The remote control file is available and of course is working if I can send codes via the IRTrans GUI Client. So my question is this;

Is it possible for the “remote control not found” error to be cause by another condition?

In general „Remote control not found“ means that the remote control is missing.

There might be different reasons for that: If you are sending the IR codes directly to the IRTrans (and not through the irserver) the remote control maybe has not been uploaded.
