using bus module

Postby Fischer » Mon 1. Feb 2010, 10:07

hi,

i have an usb module and a bus module connected with 3Wire sbus.
I want to send an ir command to bus module.
On bus module, dip switch "2" is set (down) , switch "1" 3" and "4 "are reset (up) : adress in binary is 0010 : 0x02 in hex.

Communication seems to be ok (using urtrans client, i see both device at @ 0 and 2.

Now i try to use irtrans client to send command. i tried all "device id" values : "alle", 0 -> 15.
On usb module it is working.
On bus module it does not work. !!!
All parameters have the default values, i do not change these values.

Hmm, that is strange, Device ID 2 should send via the Bus module.

Please check what the LED of the Bus module shows when you try to send an IR Code.

The ir led flashes only at power up.

When i send commad to bus module the LED does not flash.
When i send commad to usb module the LED it is ok.

I have 4 bus modules with the same issue.

I think where is something wrong in wiring or configuration.

Hard copy joined => to check

I know what the problem is:

You first need to enable the option "SBUS Send" on the IR Bus Tab in the Device Settings (GUI Client) of the USB Module.
Sorry that I did not remeber that at first ...

Your cabeling is surely OK - otherwise the device status would not work.
