.rem file documentation

Postby michaellee » Sat 26. Sep 2009, 21:11

I have a few questions about the format of the .rem files that contain timing data for remote commands.

What does the "S" do? This is not documented in the user manual.

If I have 5 different timing pairs defined, then how do I translate them for the actual command?

If I need to use timing 1, then do I use 0 in the command syntax? For example, would the following be correct?

Code: Select all
[TIMING]
[0][N]5[1]640 1304[2]1616 900[3]640 670[4]640 9300[5]1616 9620[RC]7[RP]0[FREQ]455

[COMMANDS]
[TEST0][T]0[D]222222222223110010101101011011111111111010100111111001101104

That is correct, the value "0" references the timing number 1.

If there is an "S" inside the IR Code the timing will have the parameter [SB] set. That means start bit.
If there is a start bit, everything shifts by one:
S = Timing pair 1
0 = Timing pair 2
1 = Timing pair 3

and so on.
