Toggle two commands with one button

Postby eeit232 » Thu 8. May 2008, 18:27

Hi,
I have a problem that perhaps you have a solution to. I have a dual-display environment, one small LCD touchscreen on my OrigenAE X15e case, and a plasma TV. I wish to be able to switch between these displays using a remote control button. I have keyboard shortcuts to select each monitor (they are different and have to be as determined by graphics driver software). So CTRL ALT F1 selects the LCD, CTRL ALT F4 selects the plasma. Can I set up IRTrans such that a single button on the remote can toggle between these two commands? So press 'DISPLAY' on my remote and it switches display, press it another time it switches back? I have successfully assigned the CTRL ALT F4 to the button and that works fine, but I would like the same button to be able to switch back as well. Is this possible?

Many thanks,

Barry

Hi,
that is not possible without an external tool (like Girder).
