install issues with latest version

G'day,
I already have an older vserion (5.x series) of irserver running but trying to get the new one oging.

On windows all I see is;

Code: Select all

IRServer64.exe <ipaddressofunitremoved>
IRServer64 Version 6.03.09
Error opening COM/USB Port / LAN Device


On linux the server segfaults after a few seconds of looking at it with the web interface.


Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,
this server version is tested and used by many people already.

Please note that you should generally start irserver.exe and not irserver64.exe.

Your problem might be caused by a firewall on your system.

The webinterface of the server should NOT be used at all.
